-
Distance: 25k, 15.5 miles (keep in mind these are trails and distances may vary from your GPS watch)
This is a great middle distance race for those wanting to experience trail running for the first time as well as for those wanting a fast race experience.
There will be three well-stocked aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and experienced volunteers. We will also have real food at the aid stations (something sweet and something salty).
-
These trails are not extremely technical or rocky.
This course is almost all trails. Most of the trails are single track and some are wider horse trails.
It is not flat, but does contain some very runnable hills which should make for a relatively fast 25k, however there are some rooty sections and some areas might be muddy. Be ready to possibly fall and get dirty. Be prepared for any and all weather conditions. Runners could experience cold, rain, snow, mud and possible freezing conditions.
