Distance: Runners will run the same 3.75-ish mile course for 14 hours and 6 minutes. The runners that run the most miles in that time will podium. Runners are free to start and stop as much as they want during that time period, or they could decide to never stop and just continue to run hour after hour after hour without stopping… Runners could literally say they ran all day and not a minute at night. Runners will only get credit for full loops of the course.
This course is 95% trails. Most of the trails are single track and some are a bit wider. It is does include some rolling mountain bike hills. The course is very rooty and quite gnarly. Runners will have to pay attention to avoid falling.
There will be well-stocked aid station at the pavilion with water, Tailwind Nutrition, soda, sweet things and salty things.
The YMCA will have their bathrooms and showers available to runners.
Runners will set up their “Rest Area” in a beach-like format in the field. Runners will pick their spot and lay out their stuff. This will allow runners to be as close or as far from their friends as they would like. -
Swag will include something all runners will love and cherish until their next race. All runners will receive a “finishers” recognition piece.
Awards for the top 3 men and top 3 women...
